Who we are

This website is operated by CLEAN BEST GROUP PTY LTD (ABN 84 700 040 553), trading as Clean Best, of 54 Columbia Rd, Seven Hills NSW 2147. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Clean Best. We are bound by the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What we collect

We collect only what we need in order to quote and deliver a cleaning service. When you submit the quote form on this site, that is your first name, last name, phone number, email address, the service you selected, the best time for us to call you, and — if you choose to provide them — the address of the site and a message describing the work.

If you call or email us instead, we collect whatever you tell us in that conversation, which is usually the same information.

We do not collect sensitive information as that term is defined in the Privacy Act. We do not ask for, and you should never send us, financial details, identity documents or health information through this website.

Why we collect it

We use your personal information to:

• respond to your enquiry and call you back at the time you asked;
• arrange and carry out a free walkthrough of your premises;
• prepare, send and follow up a written quote;
• deliver the cleaning service, schedule your cleaner and manage the site;
• issue invoices and keep the records a business is required to keep.

We do not use your information for anything else without asking you first.

What we will never do

We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent it, trade it or share it with third-party marketers, lead brokers or data aggregators. We do not add you to a marketing list because you asked us for a quote.

Who we share it with

Your enquiry is sent by email to our own team. The form on this site posts to a hosted contact service that we control, which delivers the message to our inbox using Amazon Simple Email Service. That service transmits the message; it does not use your information for its own purposes.

Beyond that, we share personal information only with the cleaner and supervisor assigned to your site, so they can actually do the work — and with our accountant or a professional adviser where that is genuinely necessary, or where we are required to disclose it by law.

Cookies and analytics

This website does not set advertising or tracking cookies of its own. Our hosting provider may collect standard server logs, including IP addresses and request data, for security and performance purposes. If we add analytics or advertising technology in the future, this policy will be updated before it goes live rather than afterwards.

The honeypot field

The quote form contains a hidden field that is not visible to you, is not in the tab order and is hidden from screen readers. It exists to catch automated spam submissions, which fill it in. It collects nothing about you, and a human being will never see it or interact with it.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry records for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and to meet our record-keeping obligations, and then we dispose of them. If you asked for a quote and did not proceed, and you would like your details removed, email us and we will remove them.

Keeping it secure

We take reasonable steps to protect the personal information we hold from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. This site is served over HTTPS and form submissions are encrypted in transit. No system is perfectly secure, and we will not claim otherwise.

Accessing or correcting your information

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@cleanbestgroup.com.au or call 1300 494 983. We will respond within a reasonable period, and there is no fee for asking.

Complaints

If you believe we have mishandled your personal information, contact us first at hello@cleanbestgroup.com.au and we will investigate and respond. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a new date at the top. We will not make a change quietly and backdate it.
